Into each life some rain must fall/but too much is falling i

The last two days were pretty much crap all all around. It all started Tuesday night, when I got home from work and found that I had recieved an overdraft notice from my bank, informing me that I had radically miscalculated my finances while in Texas. I resolved to go to the bank the next day to check on the situation, see how bad it is and if there's anything I can do about it. So, I left early Wednesday to go to the bank. As I got in the car I noticed the Check Engine light on, which concerned me, since it hadn't been on the night before, but left, figuring there was nothing I could do about it now and hoping it wasn't anything serious. I got on the freeway, and as I got up to freeway speeds my car quit accelerating and shuddered a little as if I were going over some bad road, and the Check Engine light began to flash. I quickly exit and turn my car off hoping that it's something that would reset itself if I did that. No such luck, as no it wouldn't go above, say, 20mph.
I got myself somewhere out of traffic and spent some time panicking. I made some calls and got my car towed to a shop, where they told me the Coil Housing had cracked, and this was allowing electricity to go places other than where it was supposed to. This actually is somewhat good news, because I was afraid it was a transmission problem and they'd want 3-4k for a rebuild. Because I had no transport, I had to call in at work Wednesday, because I get off after the busses stop running and I don't know of anyone who lives in my area.
So, I got my car running again with the help of my parents, which is good but kinda sucks because I just negotiated terms of getting out of my previous debt literally two weeks ago. On top of that, I checked the bank and found that I am about $100 in the hole right now. This is distressing to me because I'm not sure what I'm going to do about funds for the next week until my paycheck goes through again, not to mention the fact that the check is only going to be for three days worth of work.
