I have a netbook, but when I tried my tablet with it (so I could draw downstairs instead of at my pc) it was horrible D: then again that might have been because I've gotten USED to it at the pc.... >.>

Well I always use my tablet at my laptop, rarely at my desktop so I'm used to having it side by side or whatever. I dunno.. seems like nowhere online has information I need either ;;

I do not recommend it. A netbook has less power and such as a laptop. If your laptop overheats, then the netbook definitely will.

I should have clarified. My laptop only gets hot when I play games. Not when I use my tablet :x

Ooohh. Then IDK. My laptop gets hot like a mother running PS 7.0.

Ah, yeah I use SAI and it's such a light program that it doesn't hinder my computer at all. It's just WoW that makes my computer go " OH GOD NO PLEASE ITS TOO HOT IN HERE " but it's never, ever shut down due to overheating at least. I have a cooling tray for it too, and try to keep it dusted/clean D:

I wouldn't do it =[ Nothing to do with the computer itself, but the tiny screen really hurts your eyes and they're so inconvenient to do anything on. And whatever you do, don't get an acer anyway, hah. Me, my dad, and my mother have all had Acers, and every single one was a piece of crap.

D: A buddy of mine has an acer and loves it to death.. Urhhh.. My husband customized some computers online and kept showing them to me and they all range around 800 bucks.. which is alot more than I was hoping to spend, but if he says it's okay then.. yeah :U I'll get a better computer. I wish (LOL) I could get an alienware >>; Something that's made to stay alot cooler than regular laptops. Augh ;;

Well, if it helps any, I've been using an HP pavillion ze4900 for five years now, it never overheats. Perhaps the new HP pavillion models are the same?

If you really want a netbook, I have a samsung NC10, and though I haven't used it much, it hasn't overheated so far, and it can use Sai and a bunch of other programs at the same time no problem (and it's pretty cheap), but like I said, major eye hurt after being used to a bigger screen =[

I've used an Aspire One with my tablet, although I don't draw very often.

I didn't have any issues running Photoshop 7 on it and drawing, but the screen is only 1024 by 600 pixels, if I remember correctly. It might feel a little cramped for you and I had to do a lot of zooming to use it.
