I don't get many faves. Hell, I don't get any comments except for people often shouting on my page to thank me for a watch. Writers don't get as much praise as artists these days.

Aye, it can be tough to get a lot of folks to pay attention to lines of text as opposed to lines of ink :p

The pen may be mightier than the sword, but the eyes are what get the hand moving, and without instant gratification, like with a picture, there can be no "Unf!"

LOL, yeah. It's one of the reasons (though not the main reason) that I try to sharpen my artistic skills as well. Combine artwork and story and one can get some serious attention.

Ah, it can be tough like that sometimes. One can commission artists to illustrate parts of their works (if it helps, I plan to do this with my novel :p )

It may certainly seem that way, on the internet, at least. I occasionally find a few writers with a following here and there, though. It's definitely possible to find a crowd.
