If you read my last journal, you already know that while flying home from vacation (which wasn't much of a vacation since my husband's aunt died while we were there) the airlines lost my luggage. Inside my luggage were the cords for my computer, my wii, my external hard drive, my brand new camera I got for Christmas, my GPS, as well as a whole lot of other Christmas gifts we had received while we were there. If I could have fit everything into my carry-on bags, I would have...
But in any case, the worry and the dread at having to spend over $600 to replace everything I lost (if that bag was never found) is over. This very morning, at around 9am, a Continental worker called me and informed me they had found my luggage and were sending it to my local airport on rush delivery for me. I received my luggage at 4:05pm today, and upon inspecting it, found EVERYTHING I had packed completely unharmed and accounted for.
*takes a deep breath of relief* Thank God. It had been missing since Dec 30th, and I had just begun (yesterday, in fact) to fill out the necessary paperwork to claim the bag as being lost...
I am happy. ^_^
I'm gonna go make something DELICIOUS for dinner, then continue to clean up all the piled up messages and submissions and emails and everything that I couldn't get access to while my computer's power cords were "missing." xD

I was smart. The MOMENT I bought the luggage, I wrote my name on it. And then I bought a nametag of thick plastic for it, to put my FULL name on it as well as my phone number.
Some people just don't have common sense about their things.
Mark your territory, people. xD
Yeah? Well, I'm sure you'll never see your bags again! lol
Or know who they are so you can kill them if they lose it. >:3
