Is it true that they say?

Browsing through my various older works on DA I couldn't help notice a decending trend in number of comments, which bothers me. So I as it true that as an artist becomes more skilled, their popularity dwindles?
(unless they do pron/yiff which almost everyone here can't seem to get enough of =p)

Besides older works are online longer so more people have a chance to look them over after being drawn in by newer works.
and teach them, its worth it =)
Art is not important in fandom, But it is how you treat the people that admire you that is =)
my biggest concern is that people don't care for my work anymore cause they think I'm bigheaded and arrogant on first impression/steriotype.
Yake care ^^
That and... I just feel plain Stupid saying "Oh yea" "cool!" "Thats Awsome!" etc. u.u
Nobody comments on my art anyways lol
... seriosuly way more factors to bother listing, but in the end does it really matter? You shouldn't draw for comments anyways. I wouldn't worry it's because people think something bad about you, but simply bad luck and bad timing.
but then again, if I really wanted feedback I could just go showing off at a furcon =p. honestly, how many proper 3D furry artists are there.
