I have a desktop computer like that. I've cleaned it several times but the same shit keeps popping up ||orz

It's Second Life itself. There was a few articles about the security issues that run rampant in SL. It's a long-ass, very boring story unless you are interested in hearing about computer programming, but basically SL opens a port in your firewall, if you even have one, that anyone, or any program, can tap into. You have to rely on SL's own security to prevent malicious code intrusions and, frankly, they really don't have the best security. Anyway, there's supposed to be a way to "ghost" the port, so that even though it's open, no outside malicious attacks can see that it's open. I can't remember how. If I find the article I'll send it to you.

Well it may or may not be. If you aren't downloading anything and you got a solid [see also: not free] firewall, then that's the only vulnerability I can think of.

Unless of course the computer is used by multiple people...in which case, they might not be being as safe as you are with it.

Hopefully you guys can get rid of that virus A.S.A.P. The sooner it's off the better your computer will be

Youch! I hate being mouseless! Can't you at least bring the mouse to your laptop?

Also, did you have an Antivirus on your computer? It might check the possibilities of a virus infection.
