Some Religious Study: The Essene

My brother asked me to download this book and I decided to start reading it. It's attributed to Jesus' teachings and is written by the people that had the dead sea scrolls, so it's likely authentic.
There's some very neat stuff in there. I haven't gotten very far though, just up to where jesus is explaining how to live a healthy life (also ancient enemas).
You can read a blurb about the Essenes on this site or more detail elsewhere, and you can read the whole book there too. It's only 30 pages.

Though I won't forgive you for killing those first born egyptian sons.
However yes I had heard that tid bit before. He did have 3 wisemen from the east . Who knows his ideas were pretty revolutionary for the time.
I even do Kung Fu and Tai Chi :)
Problem is learning the history on some of these styles has proven difficult. I was asked by my sifu why our Plum Flower fist form and Plum Flower Broad Sword Form were called Plum Flower. (she calls me the researcher haha ) Truth is why and who developed it was left up to conjecture and / or lost to antiquity . Either way its an awesome form.
We do teach the martial aspects of Tai Chi as well. But yes much of the styles of kung fu were hidden by families from powers that be. I wouldnt mind chatting about this with ya more some time.
One of my favorite styles and techniques in kung fu is Wing Chun, was developed by a woman :)
Note: There have been stories of a white man visiting/preaching to Native Americans around the time of Jesus' disappearance.
To make a bad person do good things requires money...
To make a good person do good things requires little...
To make a good person do bad things requires religion...
Just my personal, delirious ramblings :)
