XD Drive safely or however you guys are getting up there because all of the crazy weather that started up this week

Oh man it's been CRAZY!! I thought we lived in San Diego?? Haha. Did you survive the "tornado" watch?! Hahaha.

Yeah, there wasn't any word of any destruction in that area, the only thing that came about, from a friend of mine that told me, she heard word that a couple of boats got lifted from the water in Huntington Beach due to the Water Spout Tornado that formed up out there, but aside from that. Just tons of rain falling down in the foothills and San Pedro streets got some flooding and the same for some other areas.

So its safe to say that San Diego is safe, there were some areas that got flurries of snow and Big Bear got fresh powder, but if anything else comes up since the worst part of the storm is suppose to hit today, I'll keep you posted.

I'm leaving Friday in the wee hours, to get thru LA without traffic. I am taking the coastal route since I assume the Grapevine will be snowed in from all the storm activity, and 2 years ago, I got turned around there and sent on a 3 extra hour detour...not good. Better to slide up the coast and, I get to visit my son in College on my way home, filled with tails of my adventures at Further Confusion 2010. Should be a great Con with you two there! That sounds like a plan!! We might be taking that route as well, it's a good idea. I hate driving in snow and seeing the car in front of us flip a couple of years ago was horrifying!
