I live with my dad, but I go to my mom's house everyday, mostly cause she has internet. It's only a mile long walk and I don't mind it. Last night, I left around 2:30 in the morning, which is not the latest I've ever left. But about halfway home, I crossed the path of about half a dozen guys. They seemed my age, maybe older, and about half a block away from me. But it was very clear they were drunk, stumbling about and talking loudly. I hurried to cross the street and continue on my way, thankfully in a different direction than they. But of course they saw me. On shouted loudly, angrily, "Hey you in the dress!" I was wearing an ankle length coat but I knew he meant me. I'd like to say I flipped them off, shouted back, told them to fuck off. I'd like to say they gave chase, that I managed to beat them, disable them, call the cops on their asses. I'd like to say that and make a grand adventure and experience out of it. But that's not what happened. I ignored them, pretended like I didn't hear. My legs shook and I was afraid they would give out from under me. My heart has never pounded so hard nor beat so fast, I don't think it's possible for a human's to beat faster than that and live. Once I was out of sight, I didn't hear them yelling anymore.

I calmed by the time I got home, played some brightly colored video games, then went to bed. Sadly, my experience translated into a nightmare. It was like playing a horror game, except when I tried to leave, the monsters tried to keep me in, trying to prevent me.

Sorry, I needed an outlet for this, and I don't want to worry my family. They have enough on their plates as it is.
