i know alot of stff ya can do for staying safe froma tornado, firstly, a tornado can come when clouds look grey-green, secondly, when clouds starts spinning, then ya can be sure there's a tornado coming , if ya hear noise that sounds a bit like a train passing by, prepare yourself, best option is to go o the basement,(if it is too late) if ya dont' have thattake a coat and a cushion, and go lie down in your bath, or if that aint possible, under a table

Houses anywhere arn't made to withstand a tornado directly. If you have no basement then the best thing to do is go to your most interior room (usually a bathroom). If you're outside with no shelter lay in the bottom of a ditch if there is any, grab tree roots if there are any. Tornadoes go in a line of destruction unlike hurricanes that cover a much broader area. In other words it can devastate your next door neighbor's house but leave yours vurtally untouched, or vice, versa. What's worse then dealing with tornadoes, is dealing with the insurance company!
