I don't have to tell you things are bad.

Everyone already knows that things are bad.

The dollar has no real value other than the value that we believe it to have. Hypothetically, if establishments suddenly stopped taking the dollar, the dollar isn't backed by anything, so all those savings, all that paper in our wallets, would become just that. Paper. Bank are going bust. According to the FDIC, nearly 200 banks across America "have failed since October 1, 2000." Shopkeepers keep a gun under the counter just to feel safer. 39% of Americans feel less safe now when compared to nine years ago, while nearly 46% say that they feel no safer now than they did after 9/11. Punks are running wild in the streets, and with the recession looming over our heads like Mommy Dearest, we can only look forward to higher crime rates.


Nobody anywhere seems to know what to do -

and there's no end to it.




We know, the air is unfit to breathe and our food is unfit to eat.
We sit and watch our tv's while some local newscaster tells us that today we had 15 homicides 63 violent crimes as if that's the way it's supposed
to be!
We know things are bad - worse than bad.
They're crazy, it's like everything everywhere is going crazy!

So we don't go out anymore.
We sit in a house and slowly the world we are living in is getting smaller and all we say is "Please leave me alone in my living room and let me have my toaster and
my TV and computer and I won't say anything. Just leave me alone!"

Well, I'm not going to leave you alone.
I want you to get MAD!
I don't want you to protest, I don't want you to riot and I don't want you to write to your congressman because I wouldn't know what to write! I don't know what to do about the recession, the inflation, the war the crime in the streets.
All I know is that you've got to get MAD!

You've got to say "I'M A HUMAN BEING GOD DAMNIT!
MY
LIFE
HAS
VALUE!"
