Nothin'. Tried to draw something for a few hours, kept getting close but not quite. I'll try again later.

Nah, something else. Something for a friend of mine. I know what I want to do for the picture (though it's not what we discussed or what they asked for) and can see it and even get close in sketch form, but it's just not coming out. I did it to take a break from the recent WIP. The next part of that is the addition of clothes, which I started on my lunch break today.

She'll reveal it likely before she starts Mikelo's story.. which could be never, knowing her.

I've found, that the only way to remedy that is to just keep drawing and erasing the offending part of the image until I get what I want, or something else comes about. So yeah, if you're easily discouraged this isn't a fun hobby.

There's always tablets. I found that, while an expensive upfront cost, they save in the long run and more than pay for themselves.

You didn't think you'd get off that easily with me, did you?

If you get that, I'll be quite jealous, as I'm still only rockin' a Wacom Intuos3 4x6. I'm not complaining as it works really well, but yeah.. what you're suggesting would be pretty epic.

I've actually been contemplating the Intuos4 Large, but would have to drop Anthrocon to get it.

Well, my sanity is pretty much a lost cause. My health is a constant work in progress but sometimes it seems the contractors keep saying supplies are on the way and drink beer all day.

Well maybe it's time to whip those contractors into shape? Wanna do another "keep Val awake marathon"? :P (just kidding, I know that was hellish for you.. though you did get a bunch done during it, and slept well afterwards).

Well, in that instance I'd been awake for almost a day, whereas yesterday I had a couple of naps... still tough but I should be able to deal with it.All I know is I have to get the comic done...

Nada. Dealing with things that are trying to stress me out. The usual. Other than that I'm at work right now and writing documentation. Woo. Also working on adding clothes to my most recent submission. Got the shirt done, pants are next. Might wait until I get some colors going for it before I post it though.

Thinking about thickening the lines on it took, maybe try for some of those styled lines I see from folks like  kami-chan .
