Ok I'm starting to get a little peeved off. I commission several things. And I consider myself to be a rather polite and understanding commissioner. I wait patiently, I try not to bug artist, and I'm understanding with time/money/family issues. I don't mind waitting just a bit for a good commission.
But what I do mind, is waiting a bit for commissions, and having no contact with the artist, and just sitting her with my thumb up my ass wondering "Hmmmmm.....did I just waste a good chunk of money." And the fucked up thing is there's not really anything commissioners can do. Or so I've heard at least, I'm not 100% sure but I've heard, admins on FA won't/can't do anything if an artist just takes your money and runs. So it seems if a commissioners loses money "Oh well." Same goes for artist alley at cons. Really they only give your recites and take you money from a cashier instead of directly from giving it to the artist, to keep it legal, and so the Con get's a cut. Not to insure you don't get fucked over.
Now I would like to make it apparent this rant, is not directed at an particular artist. I haven't been ripped off {yet....} This is based on what I've seen from the fandom. There really need to be a way to insure this doesn't happen. I think no fur would like to scare off artist from the fandom, but there should be way to stop this from happening. Especially if you have to pay a gross amount of money just to get something simple done from someone high-profile.
Alright I think I'm done. Thoughts...comments? And if I'm wrong on the FA admins and Artist alley please let me know {show proof though.}

They're one of the reasons I prefer to charge only when I'm finished
I've luckily had the good fortune to know alot of good artist, only a few that are dicking me around.
Oh and let me know when you're finished with our commission, I need price, to let akita know how much is her half.
I've heard neither hide nor hair about my badge or the contest prize being mailed to me. :c
I'll probably never speak up to them. I'd hate to bother them, but I know they're still around and working on art and stuff. I just feel like I was forgotten. u.u;
