Computer came down with a bad virus a few days ago.
Tried to fix it with scans, but then it started failing to load at all.
Did a system recovry on it to try and fix it, but now it's saying the system data is missing. The test I did before resetting it said everything was fine,but now....
Gonna have the family computer doctor try his hand. If it' dead, we'll try and salvage all my art, music, photos, etc. I'd hate to loose all my art stuff and files I've had since 2005 :< Hoo boy....

the only program I have ever had to use defensively on my computer and i am happily free =)
give it a shot I think you will be pleased =)
but only after the work is done its a preventive tool, not a destructive lol

its kinda old but it destroys the main hard hitters lol
but then again those are never seen anyways >_>
I eventually had to take it out back and shoot it. :/

I use both together and I've NEVER had a virus hop on my computer.
Had to learn this myself the hard way by losing all my important data... twice. XD
Now I've got a 500gb harddisk sitting next to my laptop that I update every week just in case! =3
though, most computer repair shops can usually fish out some files of which you thought were gone forever, so if you're lucky... you're lucky! ^^
