Quick journal to explain the last two weeks, the last crazy two weeks. So Thursday the 8th I get a call from a friend in a company I used to do freelance work for who asks if I can help him out. Apparently the catalog project I had worked on many months ago is still ongoing and really needs like all the images color corrected. So I agree and after my normal work Friday I pick up the files. While the files are copying I finish DarthKitsu's avatar (yay) I then spend about 16-20 hours over the weekend working on these color corrections as well as the other plans I had for the weekend. While I am working sunday I get another call and an email from the same guy asking if I can do a website during the week. This Gerber water conservation site would be given to me Monday and I would need to finish it by Friday. I thought this was fine looking at what he gave me and I agree knowing that I normally have Tuesdays and Thursdays off from my normal job and the payment for TyFurischers commission hadn't gone through yet. So I agree, and on Monday when I am dropping off the files for the catalog I expect to pick up the website files. The customer was still making changes so I couldn't get them then AND more work needed to be done for the catalog so he asked me to come in Tuesday to do the catalog and to get the files. So I work all day Tuesday on the catalog, all night on the website, then go to work Wednesday, and spend all night on the website.

Now let me interject one more thing, at this point around Wednesday all the card decks I sent off to be finished come back as apparently the finishing company manged to mix up the sheets and they were all out of order... and so with what little time I have between breathing and working me and my house mates are sorting these cards to get them back to the finisher to do round corners.

So Thursday I find myself back working on the catalog(as the customer is crazy and keeps wanting to change things or keeps nitpicking things that I/we could have fixed months ago while fixing other things if he had cared at the time. And Thursday nights are my nights with my GF, nothing else happens Thursday nights. Friday I am back at my normal job and Friday night I am rushing to finish this website. Now I thought maybe I could have a little more time since they were late approving, but the customer had published the website address in some magazine or what ever that was hitting shelves Saturday... now let me mention I was given the files Tuesday for this site, the customer didn't actually approve said files until Wednesday night and wanted this completely finished and working Friday... crazy people.

So I end up spending Saturday doing corrections as I threw up on the web everything I could get done as fast as I could get it done on Friday. At this time I was given yet another website, only 4 pages this time and worked on that Saturday as well. Sunday I took a breather and did the sketching and line work for TyFurischer. I then get a call that I am needed again for the catalog so I ditch one job for another Monday. I inked Ty's sketch that night and worked on the other site some more. Tuesday I went into work for missing Monday. That night we were entertaining guests but I got the flat colors in on the commission expecting to finish it after work Wednesday or during the day Thursday. Wednesday night I had to take care of some private things that I am not going to mention here but were personal and important. And I had to go in for the catalog again Thursday and infact going in again today to preflight it before print. It seems that many issues I though I had fixed were not fixed cause some idiot set very strange clipping paths on a portion of the files that are overwriting and cutting in on what I have done. And I tried to explain what they had to do to fix it, which was responded with "that is beyond my level with Photoshop can you please come in again and work on it. So I went in yesterday, and am going in again today. As long as the sky does not fall I should finish the commission tonight and be working on my own work again this weekend Though I have a flash website that I know will be coming onto my desk soon, but it shouldn't be in my que til Monday at the earliest @_@ I don't think I have ever been this busy in such a short time, but I will get back to arts very soon!

Just thought my watchers deserved a reason why I went from posting just about every day to silence for two weeks, I am here and I will get back to work soon~ I just don't think you guys would be entertained by a water usage audit calculator or a color corrected column or wall molding >.>
