OK, I am a photographer all day long but I do also like to draw. When I was living at college and with my parents I had access to a scanner so it was easy for me to upload pictures and then dick around with them in GIMP with my mouse. But now that I am living with my mate, I have started drawing again but I lack a scanner. We really should invest in a printer (for legal online documents, the apt has a business computer we can use but I don't always feel secure with it) but I'm not sure about getting a "death star" printer/scanner combo.
So, for fun, I was looking at tablets on Newegg. I'm saving up to replace my clunker so I can't really spend a ton of money on something like a wacom (500 usd+ is just way out of my range) but I saw a tablet made by Genius for about 40 usd. Has anyone used this brand? Or can any one recommend another OK brand for under $100? I don't really need anything super fancy, as you can see by my gallery I have no intention of making cash off of my scribbles :P
