A personal question!

Yes, a personal question! Do you consider yourself to the far left, left of center, undecided, right of center, or far right?
For those unfamiliar with 'left' and 'right', the origin of the term comes from the French Revolutionary era, specifically the Legislative Assembly of 1791. Back when Louis XVI still had a spinal connection to his brain (this was later robbed from him by a Guillotine), the representatives of the conservative nobility and royalty sat to the right of the King while the radicals and representatives of the lower classes sat to the left.
This leads directly into a vital insight, one that requires your honesty and attention. When you sit down, which side of your ass do you tend to lean on? Your left or right? It doesn't necessarily matter what country you're in... unless your country is a limited anarchy, in which case proper seating is nearly impossible due to injury, mutilation, and a general lack of order/hygeine. Remember, your answer is important, as the way you sit in a chair or sofa is entirely indicative of your worth as a human being.
Personally, I lean to the left. I like to think that I lean left of center, but sometimes when my peers or rivals make very strange and disconcerting remarks, I lean far to the left in an attempt to distance myself.

FA+

left all the way!
It shouldn't be about what's Left or Right, it should be about what's Right and Wrong!
But this isn't a butt, this is politics....oooohhhh...^^;;; *laughs hard* XD
Please read again.
I'm on the side of common sense politicly. I realize that this does not exist in politics.
It actually does not matter in the end. If the leaders we are allowed to vote on keep to the principles (be it in the US or Germany were I come from) left and right does not matter. If they don't, it doesn't matter either.
More importantly, it is my opinion, that all these political discussions at the moment are useless.
Either we are able to pull ourselves together in the next 50-100 years and grow up as humans. Not as Americans, british, german, russians, chinese or any other nations, but as humans. Otherwhise, we can bid our oh-so-great civilization goodbye. If we are lucky. If we are not, we can say goodbye to humanity.
I may be wrong about the timescale. But if we can't see each other as fellow humans, sooner or later we will doom ourselves.
But for now, I fear we live in interesting times.
And by the way, I don't lean to any side when I sit down.
BTW, I don't care why or how the global climate changes. Fact is, it changes. If we aren't prepared, the mistakes we make today will be payed in human lives around the globe in the future. Don't think the our western countries are save from that. We aren't.
BTW, I wear this shirt on a regular basis:

I even wore it to work for the employee's pre-Independence Day lunch, albeit completely by accident. Boy did I get some weird looks...
As to politics there are thing that both side do I like and dislike.. In that case it depends on the subject.
Anyhow, to answer your question, I actually lean forwards - after all, I work on the computer. :)
