If I had a PSP I'd try that one, a LOT of my friends really thought that one was good. And actually I heard that was 2, so I assume there was a 1...But w/e I think I'd get a PSP, I mean my friends are STILL playing that one. Eh, if this wii one gets cheap over time I may try the single player but come on, that's totally not the way to play is it?

Well, like I said, there's a good chance there won't be any subscription fees for people in North America or Europe. Capcom has already said they're considering dropping them for a chance at better sales and getting more people hooked on the franchise, like they did with Monster Hunter G. It hasn't been confirmed yet, but I'd say it's looking good.

The PSP versions are pretty rad. I'm playing Monster Hunter Freedom Unite still, and I'm actually leaving in a couple of hours to go visit some friends and bringing my PSP along, haha. It's just unfortunate that you need a PS3 or XLink Kai to play it multiplayer unless you have local friends to play with. Luckily, sounds like we both do, though. c:

Neither. :C I just get together with a few friends a couple of times a month. We used to play aaaaaaall the time in college, though; between classes and during some sloooow lectures. We'd all sit far apart from each other to avoid suspicion, haha. Whenever someone would die, we'd all look at the guy and he'd be fuming in his seat, ahaha.

Right now, I'm focused on getting my HR up and working on my bow huntin' skills. Monoblos is pissing me off right now...

Haha, sorry, it wasn't very obvious.

Monoblos isn't that bad, but I wouldn't suggest using a bow on it. Its constant charging is really annoying for an archer, and you really want to cut off its tail because you can carve it twice! If you're having trouble with it, there's a lot of things you can do to make it easier.

Since they spend so much time underground, their eyes are really weak to bright lights. Flashes stun them for longer than normal, I believe, and they spend the whole time growling, biting, or tail whippping sorta like a Rath, so they're sitting ducks. Sonic bombs when they dig underground while leave them vulnerable for a short time as well, but don't work when it's enraged. You can also get them stuck in a rock pillar or wall if you climb on a ledge or hide behind a large stone pillar in one particular area of the non-old desert. They also tend to drop a shiny when they get stuck on it. If their horn is broken, they won't get stuck anymore (but you probably wanna break it anyway for the extra reward.)

Trust me I know, I mainly use greatswords, I just wanna use the bow and get good enough to kill everything with it. Its fun, I prefer bowing over gunning

Oh don't apologize, you didn't know how long I've been playing. I like the new weapons, I'm pretty good with a gunlance : 3 but it makes me feel new, like back when I played the first one on the ps2 lol

The only thing I've gunlanced is Akantor, because I'm a pussy and don't mind spending an extra 10 minutes for a guaranteed kill, haha. And I wanted that bow so badly. Sooooo badly.

This is the first time I've heard of Monster Hunter, and it looks freaking awesome. :3 Here's hoping the Wii can stay connected to the internet well enough for online play when it comes out, lol.

Yesssssssss, I'm so stoked that you're interested in it. It's usually so had to convince people to give the series a try! (Don't let the steep learning curve turn you off, though. :C Epic moments in this game are truly epic.)

Ugh, one of the games in this series needs to finally have dedicated online play. I refuse to do the Wii online runaround with all this code share hoop jumping. I really wish they had kept up development for this game on the PS3, at least. I'd love to play this online for once, but one game of this caliber isn't enough to justify a Wii purchase for me.

Haha, I originally got my Wii specifically for Smash Bros. Brawl. I had been regretting it ever since with all the fucking cool PS3 and 360 titles, but when I heard about MH jumping ship for Wii a year or so ago, I finally have something to look forward to again, haha.

Well, I would've been fine if I didn't have to come to a complete stop for like 5 seconds to use the Lifepowder, haha. My friend who got sucked in first was using heavy bowgun for the first time since the first MHF, so she probably underestimated how long it takes to put one of those things away or something, haha.
