Ok, yesterday, I volunteereda at the local children's museum. This isn't something new to me, I've helped there since last summer. Plus, when i was little, my grandmother would always take me there, since there was not much else to do for kids in this god forsaken college town. Anyway, kids these days are crazy!!! I know that makes me sound like I'm 50 or something, but I'm only 18! For example, there was this one little boy who would run around, screaming at the top of his lungs, but his parental wouldn't do anything about it. So I calmly asked him to stop, and his mother told me to mind my own business because he was 'having fun'. Then there was this little girl who almost made me cry. We were making friendship braclets, and i was helping her braid hers, when i asked her if she liked to braid, you know, trying to get a conversation going. The little girl said yes, so I asked if she could braid her hair. And at this, she responded, "No, i can't braid my hair. I used to braid my Mommy's hair, but then she left me..." and gave me this really sad look, and ran off. Needless to say, yesterday was an interesting day at the museum...
