Dante Wesley got fined about 50 grand, and banned for one game. And yet, I still say it was a legal hit, he never called fair catch. But apparently can't hit em' till they catch the ball no matter what. He is still on our team as our dime corner and special teams.

Really? Ok at least he can still play football. I can understand how the hit looked fair, but after I aruged about it, I was told one thing that he did that should not have happened. When he hit the guy, he left his feet. If he didn't do that, then it would have been a fair hit....at least I think it would have been fair.

Yeah they also said he lead with his head but if you watch he actually puts his shoulder into the guy's chest. Which...if the ball had touched the guy 'should' have been a clean hit. But I dunno I'm highly critical of the NFL rules package and officiating. The refs cost us the Dallas game, the Patriots game, and Jets game. I mean Carolina stomped the Saints, and tore the Vikings apart, destroyed the Giants. Oh well next year. Right?

I agree with you. Steelers did a really great job too. What really gets me is how hard the Saints hit Kurt Warner and Bret Favre. They did it on purpose and the defensive coach admitted it. He told people on the radio that his plan for winning the Super Bowl is to take out Peyton Manning even if it means late hits, and 15 yard penalties. They are willing to hurt people to win something that they do NOT deserve.
That pisses me off.

Well my dream Super Bowl is Panthers-Jaguars though I'd happily settle of Steelers-Panthers. Big Ben is a heck of a QB. Pittsburgh hasnt had a QB like that since Bradshaw hung em up. As far as the dirty play. I agree, it isn't right to try and injure someone and put thier livelihood in danger for a game. It is a bigger statement to win and beat someone mano e mano, then try and cheat.

Yeah tell me about it. Maddox was an embarrassment. >_<U I believe that they don't give Big Ben enough credit either. He's won 2 Super Bowls, is one of the hardest QB's to bring down and is not afraid to run. Yet he hardly gets as much credit as the Manning's, McNabb, Romo, Brady, or even Vick; and that guy had dog fights in his basement.

Players have a way of taking care of thier own, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Saints do go head hunting on Manning, that Will Smith and the rest of the Saint's defensive line finds Jeff Saturday and co. rolling thier knees up. As far as the Panthers in the Super Bowl. In 2003, greatest Super Bowl ever played. Though the Panthers lost to the Patriots 32-29.

Well I didn't see the super bowl, but I did see some clips of them and I must say they were pretty good. Sorry I missed it, I started watching at Super Bowl 40 with the Steelers and the Seahawks. Totally awesome. :D lol
