I was engaging in a chat on Facebook with a bunch of fangirls (cool fangirls really, they're quite awesome) when someone came onto the room acting like the fictional character we fawned over. Now, normally this character is something of a ladies' man, but the person (acting IC in a very convincing) went out of his way to say he appreciated the fact I was one of his most devoted male fans. (Srsly, I am, I'm probably his only gay male fan XD)

...I felt really warm and fuzzy inside after the comment. It's rather silly, considering it's someone portraying a completely fictional character, and thus the compliment is essentially meaningless, but it felt nice in the same sense, as though it were the character actually saying that to ME, and making me feel special...in a nonsensical sort of way.

So yeah...if this is ridiculous or strange to you, just ignore it. I just felt like pondering on the feeling I had.
