Your art is great, and for someone like me, who doesn't have a disposable income, its rare for me to even get art, which I think your the greatest for even thinking about offering free art for people. But I watched you for the art even before I knew you did free commissions

I know a lot of friends in the same situation. That is one of the reasons I do give out free commissions. :)

I always deeply appreciate anyone who does me art... I love getting free art but wish I could pay for it, but without a job thats difficult... I can't imagine not being thankful!!

I haven't run into anyone who hasn't been thankful for the art I do for them.. yet. But that is rude to not to thank some one for their hard work.

I think the majority of people appreciate it but they don't stand out as much as the ones who don't. I've done a lot of exchange communities on LJ and free art for people. The ones who stand out are the ones who ignored me when I told them the art was finished. That person did a large amount of free art for people and totally got ignore by half of them when they made the posts, which most of I'm hoping was the people missing the art because their art is awesome.

Anyone who watches for free art doesn't deserve it. You should watch an artist for their style and love for the art. Not to get something for yourself.

Meh, there will ALWAYS be those looking for freebies and to take advantage of those providing. But hey, if any of of us(refering to those who have read and replied) are looking to take advantage do you think we would waste time on a reply? X3 I will say that while the publicity is good...the freebies icon may just be asking for it (its effectively a bullseye)

You're right. I try to read through the all the notes I get saying "draw my fursona free plz" and get to the ones who are actually trying to talk to me like a person and not a free commission machine. Those are the ones I have no issue doing requests for.

That said, it really seems illogical to me that someone would watch you just for freebies and not like your work... after all, if you're going to have someone draw your character/fursona, doesn't it seem logical to have it drawn by someone whose art you actually like? xD Just my thought on the matter, though.

Actually,I love your art.
When I first started to watch you,I watched because of your amazing work,since I liked everything. Not because you can make something for free.

People tend to ask way too much,sadly,when you do something for free.
Which is kind of insulting. They only need the whip and that's it,sometimes. =/ Not my case,but a friend of mine told me that.
And it's normal to feel that they watch you just for the freebies. Well,in my case I don't watch you for the freebies.

I watch you because I like your artwork in many aspects that (humilty here) I can't even do,like detailed face features. (Noses? WHAT?) Also,I see future in you,so I will watch you to get sure to see you rising up and being one of that kickass artists that people go RUNNING to ask for commissions.
