Tales of cards games... again...

I know its only like 1 of 3 things I talk about in my journal lol.
But this last weekend brought up a good question "why do I build the decks I have?" It took a little bit of time to figure out why I do what I do with the cards I have, but it simply boiled down to this: making decks comprised of an old theme that people would see as "ineffective, out of date, antique, to slow, etc." makes it more surprising when it actually works. For starters, most people over at the game shop could not see a Crystal Beast deck actually working against the generic decks of today. I guess my answer is that I like to take the cards that most duelists would normally not pay much attention to and put them to good use. Not just my crystals, but my Elemental Heroes/Evil Heroes, Dragons, Fortune Ladies, and Exodia. And right about now.... Im considering going down the path of Neo Spacians, just because that would throw off just about everyone, leaving them in a state of "WTF!?!?!" ;3 And also the Neos fusion monsters just look AWESOME!! :D There was a point down here when people used the Neo Spacians and were popping up from the ashes of time, but as quickly as they appeared, they vanished once more, and I wanna bring them back for what they were intended to be used for! Wish me luck! Or if you wish to support their revival, not me ;3
On a side not, this is something Ive been meaning to say since apparently its an issue, which I never saw at first glance. Kingdom Hearts has somehow shot up like a rocket in fame, I would not know since I dont have a PS anything, but at first I did not like the game because I assumed it was just like all other JRPGs before it, turn based RPGs which I cannot stand. But, with some helpful insight of the game from my blue wulfy, I found out that it is in fact not turn based. Now right off the bat it gets some good marks from me, but there will always be the lil thing that I do not own the right console to play it, and even if I did I would only play it like 10 minutes at a time since I also cant stand the controllers of andy of the Playstation platforms... simply too small controllers for my big paws lol. But enough of that being said, I think Kingdom Hearts gets a thumbs up just for not being turn based, everything else I would have to experience first paw.
