Yesterday marked the end of my second time at Further Confusion, and my fifth convention in all. The experience was extremely different from FC2009. It's amazing how much being a fursuiter changes things. Last year, I was just a wide-eyed bystander enthusiastically enjoying the wonderful fursuits. I attending panels, went to all the fursuiting events, and had a wonderful time. This year, I was a part of the show. I was one of the things the wide-eyed bystanders were there to see. Everything gets flipped around! Panels held no real interest anymore - all I wanted to do was go around being playful and cute in my fursuit.

This of course isn't my first convention in suit, but it's by far the biggest, and I was totally happy to finally get to strut my stuff with the best suits in the fandom, and the second largest audience possible at a furcon.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that a lot of people I'd never met/seen/heard of already knew who I was and already loved my suit. I largely have Kijani the Lion to thank for this, as I frequently go out public fursuiting in Seattle areas with him, and his videos of our adventures are apparently pretty popular in the fandom.
