I am curious. After reading that chapter, do you want to see more of what happens to Ricke?

And here is the real question.. do you want to see good things happen to him, or bad things?

I think it would be neat to see more of that little story arc with him... it'd be a good vehicle to show the readers how the slaving process works in detail (what more there is to it that isn't already mentioned, anyway) And of course a good place to apply ample sadism :o

As for good or bad things, well... maybe some of both? I like how it seemed like he was ascending a stairway toward status and a place above the rest... yet the feeling that it's going to come crashing down on him in the not-too-distant future is almost palpable. Flawed villains like him are interesting to read about, and i'm sure he'll get what's coming to him.

Yes... I never turn down the chance to apply some sadism! More chapters about the enslaving process are planned as well.

See, and I wouldn't mind seeing him adjust successfully to his new caste - I don't think he should end with a horrible fate - after all, his mentality and fate is a direct product of abuse by others. However, being absolved of all personal responsibility, well, that would be boring.

I would love to see more of Rickie. Mostly good things, eventually followed by some sort of twist: redemption or a brutal reminder that whatever power he thinks he has is only an illusion - he is only a slave, after all, and he only has power as long as the dragons find him useful.

I do wonder if he could resign himself to being a slave, if he couldn't cope being called small. But maybe all that doing his own way with slaves might be quite therapeutic
And in some ways might it be more of a "good" life for him than when he used to be the social outcast.
I do like to hear more about those insect things, insectoids? Are there slaves on the battlefield?

I'd like to see him a bit more, but getting beaten down. Still higher than the other unicorns but still WAY below dragons.

Maybe made to hurt/brand some people and then FORCED to if he doesn't obey or complains.

I would be very interested in his fate as well. Of course, I am always interested on different variations on the same theme.

I'd love to see the newfound power go to his head... only for him to end up as one of my slaves for a month or two so I can teach him the ins and outs of how to be a good Master.
