Wi-Fi Woes and Cons in 2010

I don't post journals that are pointless, so, if you do read this, please read thoroughly.
The Wi-Fi connection I was using for my lap top was not mine, but it's not illegal to use other people's Wi-Fi because you have the option of applying a security code. I just found out that the reason I haven't had internet for the last week is because this person just got security for his/her Wi-Fi (what a party pooper). So, until I can get my very own Wi-Fi connection (router, and stuff like that)or use someone elses Wi-Fi, I'll have to use my parents CPU which uses dial-up *sadness*.
And I will be on rarely.
