Nameless : making time for anything I enjoy lately is not without extreme difficulty
marturion: Oh?
Nameless: even then, often as not when I finally have time i have no interest in doing anything with it but recovering from the demands of everyone else's whims over the course of the week.

marturion: Why so busyious?
Nameless: I'm the sole mode of transportation for two people. I'm also a failing housekeeper, caregiver for six pets, assistant dungeon master and personal aide and, when I have time, a professional artisan.
marturion: .... o-kay then...
Nameless: I know
Nameless: And it's not like I'm exactly happy with it either....
Nameless: But my hands are juuuust a little tied.



I'm having so much trouble finding enough time in a day to do everything that needs doing.... I need to start developing management skills x.x

Starting with a schedule. Problem is my scheduling tends to conflict with everyone else's and I dunno what to do about it. It works well enough when I only have to account for me, sure. but I've got several complete wild cards to account for.... one of whom doesn't get up in the freakin' morning. I have no idea what to do with this. I really don't. The most productive thing for me is usually just to let him sleep all day, as far as my actual work goes....

But there are a lot of reasons why that's completely not helpful. At the same time though, trying to have him alive and dangerous takes up more than half of my day, more often than not, and I don't know what the hell to do.

I have far too many obligations right now..... How do I get into these situations?
Do I have to start being a total bastard drill sergeant? I don't like being that guy.
Do I just leave him in the dust because he seems to lack the discipline to overcome his medical problems and I obviously lack the resources?

I'm at a loss. Completely at a loss. What I do know is that at some point in the next two days, in the midst of scrambling to finish several work orders, I have to run my mom all over the place, run my own errands, and bathe and deliver a puppy to what will hopefully be his happy new home. And that last one will happen whenever the receiving party decides is convenient.

I'm so fucking sick of being a doormat but I feel like I'm not in a position to have my 'druthers....

Just like always, it seems.
