Artwork flow
I've now finished uploading all of the work I did in 2001, which seems to be the majority of it. I've come across a couple 2000 pieces and now it's just a matter of the last bit of 2002-2003 work.
I wish I could tell you I have as much work done each year but that's not the case.
It seems pretty clear to me looking back that I must have been drawing like a madwoman in /01 and my wrist grew steadily worse from there so the work starts to trickle to a standstill and especially towards 03 I see a lot of uncolored work, mostly sketches and ink. I can tell my wrist was bothering me then.
As of 2003 until present...
I'm afraid my life was in turmoil, I stopped drawing altogether hoping my wrist would recover. It never has, so I have to be very careful now. I still want to draw, very very badly!
I have heard both sides of the story that getting your wrist "fixed" might just screw it up for life. Then again I've heard ignoring the problem can lead to the same thing. First step I guess is getting up the nerve to talk to my Dr. about it.
As my friend Rust said, it's not like he's going to whip out a scalpel the moment I bring it up.
I dug up all my old work burned on to disc, one of them doesn't appear to work anymore so I wonder what art WAS on it. I found some work I was certain had gotten colored at some point but couldn't find it. It's possible it was lost in all the craziness of the past. One disc just plain won't work. It's a shame but at least the majority of my work is now archived on FA, it will be the biggest repository of everything I've ever done. I'd like to start doing more art but we will see how it goes.

FA+

that sucks though DX
Before, my wrists always felt tired and sore, now they feel much better and I can type more. Going to the Doc about the carpel is definitely a good idea. You may try loading the non-working disk on other computers. Some drives can't read what others will. I have a DVD I burnt that is completely unreadable in one drive and works fine in the old drive.
I'll try to get that disc to work in another drive like you suggest.
I don't know which disc it's on atm. I know I have it. Somewhere.
Damn my disorganization!
Somewhere, there's a balance between self protection and creativity :)
I'm waiting for technology to catch up to where I can use my mind to move a cursor.
I'm really disappointed about furnation. I'm sure I had work on there that is lost now. I'm also wondering about just how far newsgroup archives go back. I haven't been able to use newsgroups since I switched to a gmail email address. But, I don't know if I'd be able to find stuff from years ago either. I know nothing about it really.
Except, I can't find all of my art and it's buggin' me.
I remembered an alien I drew a few times...
where is my alien!
That's what I collected from Furtropolis so I think I have them all. Possibly.
In that case, I guess I don't have them all.
Would you email them to me?
