Amazing writer. Loved all his books. If you haven't picked it up, I would suggest getting And Another Thing by Eoin Colfer. It's a continuation of the Hitchhiker's Guide series.

It's written just like Adams' style, and follows his line of "sense". Also, Wowbagger the infinitely prolonged makes his return as a major part of the story.

We find this universe to be (mostly) normal because we're used to it and it's 'always' been like this, so we set that as a baseline for normal. Sound right?

Normal tends to be defined largely by one's perspective on things.

There are probably a few furry novels that fit that description. =P But yeah, smut tends to require thinking with your groin more than your head, which tends to make the plot suffer.

Yeah, I've read books that were just 'wahhhhhhh i dont want to hump any more dudes' *humps more doods* 'waaaaaaaaahhhhh' Lol. But, unfortunately things on Yiffstar aren't proofread all that well and other things that would just drive me insane.

You have a point there. I haven't read more than one Redwall book, but I still enjoyed it. His characters seem to use weapons that could and would really be used in a medieval setting.

However, I still want werewolves to get some loving. And since nobody else is doing it the way I like (save for a couple notable exceptions), I guess I have to do it myself! Tricky work, but so worth it if I can pull it off.

I like Patricia Briggs, even if she did sell out by doing the werewolf thing. She's the only one who does it with some semblance of decency.

I read this other book that was basically the plot of Elven Lied with a werewolf a farm boy and some illuminati instead of super secret government things and schizophrenic death bringing girls.

"Sell out"? =P I actually like her books. But then, I am a big werewolf fan in general, so... might be biased.

Honestly, ... with the whole 'sell out' thing, it's only because Steal the Dragon is one of my favorite books and while she does the werewolf thing well, I just loved her high fantasy stuff. :3
