Some ranting

Rant #1: Da Colts
I'm not a fan of any team. I openly tell people this and most of the time they're cool with this. That being said, I have a tendacy to root for the home team, and living in the state of Indiana that would happen to the the Indianapolis Colts. However, I do believe there is more than just one game riding on a Super Bowl victory.
Do any of these fans remember the losses the Colts had at the end of the regular season? I'm willing to bet very few have. However, if they lose the Super Bowl, watch those losses pop right back into people's minds. I saw stories right after those losses of people protesting in the streets if Indy, demanding their money back and calling for the termination o the head coach. Where are they now, huh? Don't you see this guy's wisdom.
Those losses came about because the star players were mostly benched during those two games. They got rested after not only earning their way to the playoffs, but also homefield advantage throughout. Why make them play and risk possible injury. I'm actually willing to bet if they went for a perfect season that they wouldn't have made it so far as the conference championship.
Here's one fact. You have to make it to a game in order to win that game. If those losses enabled this Colts to make it to the Super Bowl, then why be upset at them for them? So, if the Colts lose the Super Bowl, will you still want to get rid of those season tickets, stop attending games, and call for the coach's termination. On the same note, if they win, how long does everyone have before their contracts are up? I would not cry if all the stars moved on to teams cities states that would appreciate them for smart playing. Don't be surprised that if next year you see a completely different Colts team that's incapable of winning or making the playoffs.
Rant #2: Australian censorship
Is it me, or does Australian seem much, much more outrageous than the US these days when it comes to censorship. I know there bills circulating in the US suggesting some website banning, however they've yet to make it to law. The exceptions to this usually involve exploitation of children, which a majority of the country agrees is just wrong and should be stopped. On top of people's fears of some of their favorite websites being banned for stupid reasons in Australia, one of the first solid criteria recently came about.
Appearantly websites that feature grown women whose breasts are smaller than a C cup will be banned in Australia. According to the word of the bill, these women are not truly adult despite their age, therefore all nude images of small chested women are to be banned from the internet in Australia.
So you're telling me that in Australia small chested women have no right to marry, bare children, hold jobs or even political office. You're also telling me that current husbands of small chested women aren't legally married, and are constantly committing statutory rape. No, what this is is outright discrimination based on a woman's body type, a woman's genetics. It makes me wonder even if there's racial meaning behind this. What is the average chest size of an Aboriginal Australian woman? Maybe this is meant as a slam against the Japanese, as it's known outside of that country that there is still strong anti-Japanese notions within that country.
Now that that's out there though, what's next?
Rant #3: Ten Dollars
This isn't as much of a rant than it is an obervation. As some people might know I work at a major pizza chain. I've been there for years. Recent they started a flat out $10 pizza deal, where any pizza is $10 despite size, crust, or number of toppings. Most employees are actually rather upset about it, however I've been happy about it... it's increased sales and actually got me some OT, fattening my usually meager paycheck.
With this flat rate many people just go for the normal specialties, the things that we normally have on the menu for $16 and what not... though some people get truly creative with their pies. These people though need to know something. When you pile topping high on a thick crusted dough and try to cook it with everything else, sometimes it just won't cook all the way. I try to ask people if they want it well done when they order certain topping amounts, they say no, then wonder why the crust is doughy. Some people, really.
That's a lot off my chest there.

That's a lot off my chest there.
The Puritans were told that what they did was wrong as
well and was stupid and evil for doing them.
Nobody, I mean NOBODY, should declare themselves "Moral Crusaders".
That job is best left to God and Jesus.
