Last year of High School tomorrow, press F5 also!

General
Tomorrow begins the final year in High School, yet I am nervous as all hell. I'm pretty much an adult now (Much like half my class mates, though they won't act it).
Yet I just know that the school is just a gate to walk through to more advanced educational institutions, the stuff I learn there will be essentially useless. Will anyone give a damn about the stuff I learned there? Any potential future employers? Hell no, they care much more about the more advanced educational institutions.
Not to mention that the school screwed me out of the subjects I wanted, did I want to go into 'Business Management' and 'Legal Studies'? No, they just create needless work-load that I don't expect will be of any use in the future. Being a lawyer seems boring and running a business is too risky for my tastes (I wouldn't be able to ever make an original product). About the English and Math courses now... well, thing about English is, it's more of a 'Read a book and dedicate an essay to it class', frustrating after a while, that, and there is no way to get a sure-fire correct answer, it all ultimately depends on the teachers opinion (Ironic, really, because I was learning all about bias last year), and Math? Well, I'll need it for the carrier I plan but the stuff I am learning is kind of being shoved down my throat with the expectation I will remember it all. I'm not a computer, stop treating me like so.
And the final class?
The IT class is an absolute joke, from Year 9 to Year 11 I learned almost nothing, hell, I actually learned more hacking a 1992 Mega Drive game, and even then all I really did (at best) was just trace stuff in Gens, that hardly qualifies as ASM hacking (And most of the unfound stuff I did find, I found through trial and error in a hex editor). Hopefully Year 12 will be any good at all.
So basically, the school system is a joke in pretty much any country, it doesn't help you, it only hurts you, emotionally and physically (Do I need to recite the story of my dislocated shoulder?). Primary school is okay, but when you hit High school? Man does 4-5 years of your life seem wasted.
Incidentally, to any American readers, Australia lacks a Middle school, it is literally just Primary school (Ages 5-12*) and High school (Ages 13-whatever age you finish at*).
On the upside, I have a new icon based on a sketch drawn by
HybridProjectAlpha which I have to thank heavily for letting me colour, he is a great friend and I do suggest taking a stickybeek at his art.
And yes, half the reason for this journal is to get rid of the 100 Quiz one, heh.
*Ages are approximations
