If you want people to comment more I think it helps if you act like you appreciate the comment. I don't feel like commenting anymore if I get a "ty" back instead of getting the full words "thank you" and put an exclamation mark on there! Not that hard! Then it seems like you actually like the comments given! Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Yeah, I know what you mean. Another thing that kinda ticks me off, is when people come and say, "Thanks for the page-visit! 8DDD" or some other thing that is rather simple to understand. It makes it seem like the person has nothing better to do, despite the fact that they have like a million page-views...
