A notable weekend.

Well let's start at the beginning.
Stephen needed to leave for family business and I've been coasting it solo here at home with the Baileyboo who really pays more attention to me when it's just me in the apartment and he realizes it. I get more Dalmatian snuggles at night too, which is nice when I want to snuggle with the big guy, but it gets a bit difficult to write in bed with a snout poking in constantly on the laptop.
Stephen also ordered Halo 3 ODST on Amazon for like 26 bucks without my permission. I had told him that we shouldn't be getting any games because we're not working. It went like this:
Stephen: (On laptop) "Oh it'll be here soon!"
Zach: What will be here soon?
Stephen: (Now hiding behind laptop) Um...I ordered the new Halo game...
Zach: WHAT!? I TOLD YOU-
Stephen: Yeah but it was only 26 dollars on amazon! WIth shipping it's like 30 something! It's fine!
Zach: (Still pissed) But...we're so poor we shouldn't be buying games at a time like this!
He finally convinced me that we could afford it...I'm still...I dunno, kinda ehhgh about it. When it came in we played it AFTER I scolded him some more...I suck as an authoritative figure...I cave too easily sometimes.
ANYWAY, the weekend has been pretty interesting, I finally got some writing done.
coffeehousedog Jennichu's story will be done soon, it's about halfway done, action scene finished, beginning needs a lot of work, ending is still up in the air. Then the whole story must be revised until it flows nicely. I need proofreaders, Stephen is such a pain, if he doesn't understand at least one character he just gives up on the whole goddamn thing. -_- I also finished an original story with Nidonemo. I want to revise it before putting it up on fictionpress.
The rains flooded the bedroom last week, did I mention that? Damn what a fucking mess. But it finally got us to clean half the bedroom.
...oh yes, I met with a new friend last night. Had my first Heineken beer. Not terrible, but a taste you REALLY have to acquire. The guy is VERY polite and nice, and he even gave me an old leather riding jacket of his that he can't wear anymore. Fits like a dream and I feel like this complete badass when I have it on. I'll totally upload pics when I can get someone to photograph me. :D
As for uploading here...I have a plan....wait...no...just realized I don't think it would work. I need to upload it as art in order for icons to be recognized. Shit. Oh well. I'll journal the links for you guys...or...wait...sorry indecisive here.
