I never thought I'd say this, but...

I weirdly really missed the rain. It doesn't rain very much in winter here in Florida, so the fact that it was raining pretty hard earlier really excited me xD Though, I'm sad now it's marking the end of "winter" in the tropics, lol.
Another thing, and this is fairly random... I really detest the Confederate Flag. If it's used for historic purposes, or hung in a historic place, that's fine with me. When it's hung on folks' cars and in shops and out on vans, etc, it makes me awfully uncomfortable.
Another random thing! One of my Ukrainian pen-pals told me that my Ukrainian is much better than my Russian. Ah. I'll have to say that, if it really is, it's because I'm learning Ukrainian practically from scratch, but Russian I've known all my life, and thus I have a lot of bad habits with it that take time to break.

I can understand how it would make folks uncomfortable though.
(i really don't want to get 3245872394572345 comments after this about how terrible slavery was, because yes it was terrible, but I can really go on for days about the civil war. it's one of my favorite things to learn about. the Confederacy was about the States having Individual Rights and not being clumped together in som-oh god im babbling i'm so sorry)

Now for something a bit less educated and mean: There are a few rednecks that I had to shack up with in class and they waved that piece-of-crap flag that I wanted to strangle them with it. The only reason I wanted to strangle them is because of how stupid they acted, when in reality, they were students capable of at least learning and trying their hardest.
