I think you've succeeded in formulating an excellent definition for furry, or at least the furry way of thinking. It's a silly acronym but so what? With the exception of the animal part of the definition I think it would apply very well to a lot of other groups with some overlap in interest like non-furry otherkin too.

It's too positive of an essay to be covering a subject that's fairly negative. I hope you'll be addressing the more modern issues in the fandom.
