take a pic of a car moving?

heh...youed thing that would be it...but the teacher wants us to be difrent

maybe like a jet that is speeding across but has like the...fadey lines and all behind it...if you know what i mean xD I'm confusing myself with that

If you want to capture a moving image, you need a long light capture time, and keep the camera still.

When a professor assigned a similar objective to students at the University I went to there were many unique things.

Some examples:

A lit candle flame (maybe with slight -very slight-breeze)
Flag waving in wind
Cat or dog running/playing/cleaning etc (possibly in a park)
Tree in wind
Water Fountain
Ocean
Meteorites (it was the year we had a lot of them)
A lot of rambunctious people playing a gaming console (this would probably be more awesome on a Wii then a Gamecube or PS2/3 however the results for those were quite awesome.
A bass speaker rattling while playing bass
Someone playing guitar/other instrument
