The quick and the short of it, is that Aether is a collected artbook derived from the works of Furry artists. Borrowing from the standard look and feel of classic Fantasy artbooks like Spectrum or Exposé, Aether aims to focus specifically on the Anthropomorphic subset of Fantasy works. The works are juried, meaning only that not every submitted piece will be printed...only those that adhere to fairly specific professional look and feel. A secondary desire with Aether is to help balance the reputation Furry/Anthro artists have as being purely erotic. The media has focused heavily on this tantalizing aspect of who we are, but rarely approach the larger, boring, truth that most of just like the art for the aesthetic. Aether hopes to deliver a "cleaner" alternative to the prevailing erotica.
