Seriously, I wonder why most of the young adult population can't seem to get it together. When you're 18, you're considered an adult and when you're 21, you're given the legal privilege to drink alcohol. So why do I see tons of people, way past their "adult" age, act like children?
Granted, you're allowed to scream, holler, yell, kick, scream, etc. But sometimes, you just gotta do it yourself. Recently, I met some wonderful people who deserve great credit and respect. They know who they are. Mature, responsible adults taking care of their business despite massive emotional stress. Those single moms who work tirelessly for their children, the father who makes time for their kids, the sons and daughters who build their lives to make themselves proud, the people who sacrifice themselves to make others happy and asking for nothing in return.
It pisses me off watching 18-30 year olds acting like irritating children. Immature behavior is what gets me. The minute something goes wrong in their lives, they garner as much attention as possible but don't even figure out what the hell they need to do!
Even worse, they come to me. I'm not here to teach you about every little thing. I'm tired of co-dependent people cry to mommy and daddy to clean up the mess. Some of us, like me, do not have that luxury. I have no one to depend on. Yes, my relationship with my mom is great and such. Because I chose not to ask for help, she worked hard enough. I rather believe in my own inner-strength and solve my own drama (despite my dramatic emotional reactions, those fade relatively quick).
I can't do it anymore. I am not your superhero. I just can't. I'm not here to show you how it's done. I'm here to tell you one important thing. No, you!
