Turning Art from a Hobby into a Profession

As all things are subject to inflation, sadly, so are my prices. With the raise in my cost of living, commission prices have gone up, see footer below.
As an affiliate and content provider to Moonhawk Studios Presents, I occasionally provide articles and content based on my experiences as a professional "work for hire" artist.
Over the past year, I've felt that a lot of struggling or beginning artists could benefit from a lot of what I've learned, from a POV style perspective on what it takes to get into the business, and what to expect once you've gotten your foot in the door.
The first installment of my multipart article "Turning Art from a Hobby into a Profession" can now be found at the following link.

I hope this helps others get a glimpse of what's behind the curtain.
Look for part two in the near future.

OP
You're quite welcome. Personally, I've found most "informational articles" to be extremely cut and paste in style, and offering little information aside from "practice practice!". I discussed the concept for these articles with a couple of professional colleagues and they thought it was a stellar idea, as well as being a vehicle to offer more practical advice to those who are striving to get their foot in the door.
