I got a little good news - iTunes still isn't starting the way it should (though my iPod still works fine) but I got the external hard-drive to be reckognized.
Just as The Bun and I were starting to despair, I unpluged it totally - let it cool down for about 30 seconds, then plugged it all back in and it popped up just like it's suppost to.
So I havn't lost all my por....er...files. And all my games...most of them were on my external too.
So, a little good news.

But in fact, we still need them, and thats the reason why we torture ourselves with their setup.
You would expect that they would work the same way, every time you use them, but no...every once in a while they decide to switch things up on you.
You can open your browzer a thousand times and then one day *ERROR* *ERROR* and your system whines and crashes leaving you blinking at the monitor like a deer at night in front of an oncomming train.
Oye...
