So who's going to FWA?

So, I talked to my mom about going to some conventions this year and she agreed that if I can find my way to getting there and making the money to go, I can well..go. It was weird explaining to her the whole fur con business thing, but pretty I got it across to her.
Pretty much I'm still setting up some plans on how to get there and to set up a schedule for myself to get my current commissions done so I can take in new ones. I kind of refuse to take in any new ones while I still have ones I owe. Though in order to do this, I need to figure out how much I need to go, and I need to find some roommates so I can figure out how much I'll need for a room.
I already found the lj community for FWA, but I thought I'd ask here first if anyone knew some people who are looking for roommates and what not. I'd kind of like to, well..you know, room with someone I'm familiar with if that makes any sense.
But along with that, I also wanted to see who was going! :D This will be my first fur con I've ever gone to, I'm pretty sure it'll be..interesting.

Well okay. Yeah I know FWA will be a definite for me since I have time to plan for it. Megacon I'm still unsure about, but by how my roommate is getting her cosplay together then I'm thinking yes.
I will be so confused.

My plans are pretty much just to see if I can get money and a roommate in time for the con. I was considering doing the artist's alley if I get the chance to, just to get the experience of doing it. I'll see how much I can raise in timeee

They were playing Larger Than Life in the cafeteria and I looked around and saw like 5 other girls singing along....my friend and I included xD

The price so far, with taxes, is about $120 per person for the full stay (about $40 per person per night), so please do let us know if you're interested! (:

But yeah, it'd be cool if you'd like to join us! If you hop in, the price will actually be something like $32 per night or $96 per person. (:
But $96 per person sounds fantastic 8I I was just calculating how much I was gonna need and I was just like oh god I'm gonna need like
$300 bucks or something.
But yeah, it'll be my first con, as well, and I've already spent a pretty good chunk on everything! $375 for the flight, another $100 for registration and a dealer's table...then the hotel room. So we're trying to go for as cheap a rate as we can get by adding a few extra kids.
