As of today, we are making a significant change to better accommodate our guests. After research due to high demand for the event, we have concluded that our current venue is unable to provide adequate space and accommodations for the convention. We have decided it is in the best interest of everyone involved that we relocate the event to a larger more accommodating venue.

Today, it is our pleasure to announce, The Hilton Indianapolis North will be taking over as our venue for IndyFurCon 2010. The new hotel houses larger spaces for our events, dealers, and more places for our guests to congregate. This Hilton is also owned and operated by the same group that owns the Sheraton Detroit Novi, the host venue of Furry Connection North. Their entire staff is excited to have us this summer. This choice also gives us a big financial advantage, saving thousands on cost, allowing us to do more for all of our guests. Other features at the new hotel include a larger restaurant, bar, exercise facility, and pool. Moving only one mile south from our prior location, we are now in a different county giving us less occupancy tax, access to city mass transit systems, and a free shuttle to surrounding restaurants and shopping.

Cost for guest rooms remains exactly the same as before. However, we are no longer offering the cheaper $74 room rate because we have no alternate hotel. Rooms with 2 queens or single king beds will remain $94 per night. Guests who reserved rooms at our prior hotel will need to create a new reservation at the Hilton Indianapolis North. All reservations made at the Hilton Garden Inn Fishers will be automatically cancelled. Guests with reservations at our previous alternate hotel, the Holiday Inn Fishers, will need to make sure they cancel their reservations as we are unable to do so for them. If you would like to double check to ensure that any reservations are cancelled, the Hilton Garden Inn Fishers can be contacted at (317) 577-5900 and the Holiday Inn Fishers can be contacted at (317) 578-9000.
