This message is too powerful

I just got an email forward saying that I'll get good luck if I forward the email, and bad luck if I don't. Not being superstitious, I never forward them.
But this makes me wonder... does my Christian family think email forwards are more powerful than God? If prayer works, why even forward an email for better luck? Prayer should bring a Christian all the luck they need. It's like saying, "Oh, I know prayer works.... but just in case it doesn't, I'll leverage that with this digital text."
But what if this virtual message gives me bad luck for the rest of the year, and then some! You know that forwarded emails carry mystical powers that can change a person's life if they don't bow down to them and obey their every whim. We know this because the big, bold, bright blinking text sometimes has glittery star effects around it, and sometimes dancing 3D dogs. Obey the dancing 3D dogs. Your friends will thank you.
Please forward this to 50 of your friends or else this message will disable the brakes on your car. If you forward this to 100 friends, this message will give you a cookie!
