groggyfox, it looks hella fun.
1. What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before?
Just about everything furry-related. Two fur cons, bunch of meets and parties!! Learned a lot of random things from crafts to food to all sorts of stuff.
2. Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Never made any
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No, but my cousin got married.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Thankfully no, not a one.
5. What countries did you visit?
Just this one.
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
Really, in many ways I have a little less than I did before. Not as much dependable time or money. There are a few things I've been trying to get. Better car. New bed. And on the abstract side I'd want a more steady job and more experience in a few things. Hell, a class or two at DVC would be golden.
7. What dates from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Aww do I have to say why? >.> Uhm. 1/10/09 was my first big furmeet. Both conventions. That full moon night in the berkley hills. 3/26/09 was that time at Chicken when there was a lot of suiting! I'll remember 6/18 and 7/26 for personal reasons. Ah and of course thanksgiving and new years eve.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I wrote an 18,000-word story in a week based solely on half a page of notes.
9. What was your biggest failure?
I totally spent a gross amount of time on a gift only to have it epically fail in the end.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Hell yeah I got a nasty cold in december and for a while i was convinced it might have been freakin swine flu.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
OMG either that 17 dolla cake for cinnamon or 96 bucks worth of fur.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Oh jeez too many people.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Well there's a few but who'd want to go out and mention things like that? And hey it was last year, come on. For example, someone made me depressed last year and now I think he's super awesome. On the other hand someone made me appalled and I still don't care for 'em.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Gasoline for furmeets and groceries.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Oh my ... er ... valentines day for example? Other holidays for sure. And heck,
leothelion's parties!!
16. What song will always remind you of 2009?

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? Happier!!
b) thinner or fatter? ACTUALLY this skinny meerkat needs to work on his abs! 140 lbs much??
c) richer or poorer? Richer!
18. What do you wish you’d done more of?
I wish I wrote more.
19. What do you wish you’d done less of?
I dont think I needed to do less of what I was already doing. Really. Even negative things like sadness or laziness I think were in moderate amount.
20. How (did you) spend Christmas?
Erm, lessee... its a blur, kind of. OH YEAH. I was working that day.
21. Did you fall in love in 2009?
I er uhm well you see myar ... ok. First time, yes.
22. How many one-night stands?
Zilch!!
23. What was your favorite TV program?
Dr. Who??
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
Hate? No hate. Never hate. My disposition towards some people might be pretty low, but not hate. No one I've known for a while at least.
25. What was the best book you read?
Falcondance by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes
26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
The scissor sisters?
27. What did you want and get?
HA! You think I'll say some material thing huh? Love.
28. What did you want and not get?
A short trip to MO
29. What was your favorite film of this year?
It's a tie between Watchmen and Up

I got a pie to the FACE by a few friends.
31. What is one thing that would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2009?
The small things in my wardrobe from missouri. Dark t-shirt. Khaki cargo pants. Brown jacket. SHoulder length hair.
33. What kept you sane?
Books ... and the companionship of a certain maned wolf. Who also loves books.
34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
I had a total fanboy moment when I saw 2 the ranting gryphon.
35. What political issue stirred you the most?
Nothing much.
36. Who did you miss?
I really missed my mom, I wonder what she woulda thought of furries and seeing her son do so much in a year? Also my family in missouri.
37. Who was the best new person you met?
Agghhh there's so many. Really I feel like if I mention ANYONE then the others will be left out. Go on people, guess who you are.

Never underestimate the immense power of forgiveness.
