Quest for creativity!
Well, here it goes. I am in need of a "creative coach", basically I need someone to help me create an environment that promotes creativity. Mainly because I want to be more creative. I have found that the community college student scenario pretty much tries to squash ever ounce of creativity out of me.
I Honestly Love to draw and I would really like to learn to write. Drawing better is sort of my mission right now aside from school, but if i could write, I could finally make some of the comics I want to make. I have had ideas, plots, and a plethora of other things stuck in my head, and I want to share them. The only problem is, for some reason, I can't. Any suggestions for blowing up this "wall made of writers/artist blocks" ?
also, I'm learning Spanish at livemocha dot com check it out

What you should do is whenever you come up with an idea, write it down the best you can. This is what I do, and it really helps. As for a story, write down your ideas as they come along, even if you have random thoughts that don't seem like they fit. Also, try to write down your ideas into an outline. Try to fit the random ideas into where they would go best. You can always move them around later. That is how I wrote my CyberPunk epic I was telling you about. Oh and also don't expect to get all of the ideas at once and complete a whole story immediately, it actually may take a few days, weeks, months, or even years. Just always keep your notes close at hand, and if you come up with a new idea write it down. I hope this helps.

I did that with an idea i had for a story for 5 years, so far i have an entire universe based on pseudo sciences and a very detail planetary ecosystem .... for a scifi/fantasy mix story.... yet I seem to fail with characters/emotions

If you show me your stories I might be able to help with that, though characters and emotions are actually kind of hard, I even have some trouble with that. What you can do is sort of like a math equation, factor in your character's personality, and try to determine how they would act to a given situation. Also, the more artistic way of doing it is to know your characters so well that you can mimic them exactly, then act like you are confronted with the situation that your characters are confronted with. See what you feel and try to write down the emotions that your characters would feel. For mine I do the more artistic approach because all of my characters, if they are the main or important characters, are parts of my personality. For other characters that are not based off of my personality, I factor in the personalities of the people I know and how they react in situations and try to get the most realistic personalities. For example, this is a given, if something bad happens a character will be sad angry and confused, but if they are weird, like me, they will find a funny way to look at the bad event, if the event is terrible they will break-down and reveal a side that actually feels and doesn't laugh at everything. It is a long explanation, and there are run-ons and comma-splices, but I hope that helps. Oh, also take some psychology classes, it will also help. And like I said, let me see the stories and characters and I can help with their personalities/emotions.
