What's up with these profile IDs?

I seen everybody at their dog (possibly cats?) posting them, but I don't have the slightest idea what they are for or represent?

I check peoples pages, but nothing is changed.

I am confused. O_o;

I guess its kind of like a signature to a forum, I has one too, and its along the right between or after artist info

It's just a featured scrap, instead of a featured submission. :P

The first thing that strikes my mind as a "good" use for it is to use it to showcase the character (or otherwise, most common representation) tied to the account. So a refsheet, a detailed portrait, textual description, etc.

You could also possibly put some kind of 'commission info' submission there too.

Hmm... either way, I guess it's just like the deviant ID over at dA.

I've seen appear on people's pages. You just gotta enable it in the control panel. Just make an ID and upload it to Scraps.

Its a little difficult to find the setting, its in Profile Info down near the bottom on the right, just above the block list. It's a dropdown menu of all your scraps.

I don't really like how the reply system works on FA--I keep using it as a "yeah, what this guy said, only more" kind of thing than its really meant for.

I put one up! after seeing another user with this strange new thing on the right side of their page. You don't have to add one either, to me it adds bulk to your userpage--though I disregarded that and put one up anyway. :}

I think it's just a character sheet above the "artist information" section as a identification pic of the artist, like a seccond avatar for the artist's profile page or something.
