Simpler Days and Simpler ways

General
Summer sun kissing the exposed skin on our bodies,
The dewy moon casting it's divine glow on the flower tops,
The birds calling out saying their hellos and good-byes,
Shining rivers falling from streams in the sky.
Laughing about the jokes no one else will ever understand,
Crying about the heart break,
Carrying a new weight,
Lost in the crowed nothing to say and nothing to be said.
Nights filled with the longing of a far away place,
Eaves dropping on the songs from the next room over,
Envious of the talent and the definite strokes.
Nothing to do but weight for sleep to cover my eyes.
Hot days always ending in hotter nights of crying,
Listening to the crickets sing their never-ending songs,
Lonely sharing a bed with a sister who could care less,
Hearing nothing but your crying and her snoring.
