A beast born from my imagination and written in to the Desires of Demons story.

imagine something like a bull... replace its fur with scales, under belly and 'vulnerable' areas smooth tiny scales, like a snake belly. Rougher areas like on back neck and head, have thick and heavy interlocking plates.
Its legs are like that of a tiger's with almost arm like forelegs and finger like claws. It can climb, run, jump, and pin its prey quite easily.
It is an animal of the demon world, the highest life-form, even the demons believe it more noble than they. It can feed on anything and nothing can feed on it. Every fluid in its body is a neurotoxin of one sort or another; Its blood deadly to everything, its saliva a paralytic.
Its reproductive habits, the species has a single gender, when one wants to mate it marks territory with its urine, releasing pheromones. The urine itself is a neurotoxin that temporarily shuts down higher reasoning and self control it is also a potent aphrodisiac that the demons distill down in to a potent drug. Too frequent use of this drug can render its effects permanent.
The semen itself triggers a change in the neurochemistry of the recipients brain, causing their body to undergo a change making them fertile and forcing certain muscles to open allowing the sperm to enter and fertilize. For other species that don't have the neurochemistry and glands, it has other effects.
For humans, it causes seizures in the pleasure center of the brain, imagine a week long orgasm. In demons they react the same as to this as the urine, though it taking a far smaller quantity. In very few demons, and more commonly in humans it renders them catatonic and may also trigger seizures in the Cerebellum and brain-stem, this causes a riktus in the muscles, and the victims have a habit of breaking their own bones and may even die on the spot. A victim with too much human genetic material may also be subject to having much of their higher reasoning and logic permanently damaged. Rendering them little more than highly intelligent cattle with an insatiable sex drive.
Demons have intermingled with human blood for millenia and a right of passage for every demon, is to prove they are a true demon by mating with this beast. If they live with their mind intact, they are demon. If they suffer brain damage they are treated as animals and subjugated to a class of citizen called 'Meru', essentially breeding cattle. If they die, they are nothing, just meat.
If you are 'meat', while you still live but are helpless, you are offered to the observing masses for pleasure until your eventual death. Then you are offered to the family that spawned you for their dinner table, you are not a Demon, you are merely flesh.
If you are rendered meru you are given back to the one with the highest claim over you, be it family or a master you apprenticed to, or your liege. You become breeding stock to propagate the blood lineage or Re'o. With reasoning capacity diminished there are few tasks left for you to perform. Generally between breeding cycles you are left to create cloth and stoneware for the clan.
The genitalia:
essentially a penile slit sheath like a serpents but hanging down slightly, so the entrance is distended, perhaps slightly puckered and wrinkled. The shaft itself is a normal inflated tissue but for one fact; that the same plate like structures on the creatures back are also on the shaft, smaller, fleshier, but with barbed tips on the spades. When its fully erect the plates stand up, lifted by swollen tissue and the barbs are backword hooked so the creature stays inside until it has finished. The head would be rather spade like and flat, a bit prehensile with musculature in it to curve it up or down like a tongue. The urethra running through the center, not along the bottom like a humans cock and a wide channel able to carry a lot of fluid, which also means precum arrives late, as it takes a while to produce enough pressure to reach the tip. The flesh is deep red colored with perhaps similar colorful pattern on the plates as the back armor.
Behind the penile slit would be a secondary slit that reached from base of the sheath to base of the tail, inside are two entrances, one for the anus, and another for the vagina. The vagina is generally just a sheath until certain chemicals are released, when muscles shift, tearing open a sealed entrance to the womb, allowing fertilization.
