Well guys I finally quit my job, serving my one week notice right now. I feel much happier though, but I am worried as to how I will be supporting myself. I will be spamming the companies in the area for freelance work and I think I'll try working with the zoo, might be able to draw them a critter or two for their zoo magazine or something.
I've never considered relying solely on commissions for income and while I'm rather keen to try, I kinda worry as to whether there will be enough orders to keep my bills paid. I have a few things to deal with which unfortunately require quite a bit of money. My pc has served me faithfully for 4 years now and needs an upgrade; photoshop is going real slow on me and making painting extremely hard and annoying. I also will be going for my driving lessons and intend to pass my test before october which is when I am going back to school.
Oh well.
Is there anywhere else I can post my commission availability? I've tried the FA forums and am currently also using the communities over at livejournal but I'd like to find more ways to reach a bigger target audience. If anyone would like to commission me or you know someone who may be interested, please let them know I'm available.

I put auctions up on Furbid and Furbuy. those places are a bit hit-and-miss, but they do bring me commissions once in a while. most of mine now come from the 50 cent sketches or people just asking.
