Good news, bad news, terrible news, and great news

I see now why there are no turkeys on FA :o
Good an bad news identified to reduce chance of sudden shock.
Good News
I started working on and finishing requests given some time ago so if you've made a request with me at any time, know that it's coming and if you forgot, well, prepare to be surprised.
Bad News
I just wanted to let you know that the cause of the hold up with submissions is because the scanner still isn't acting right. The printer, fax, copy work but it's just the scanner. I honestly don't know how long this is going to take.
Terrible News
After filing my taxes, I received 5% of the money it showed on my W-2. Being it's my first time filing taxes, I'm not sure if that's normal but 10% sounds like... like a scam (either that or I did something wrong). I feel really bad now because I had my hopes set high on what I was going to save that money for and the reason for this unfortunate thing may have been my doing.
Great News
After every year of my life, since my little brother was born, I am finally going to have my own room. Even better, my plans of moving into a single bedroom apartment has been put in motion following a good paying job. I'm finally getting help on getting my independent living under way after graduation from Keystone.
That about wraps it up. I think I want to start the illustrated Journals again but oh wait... I have run out of paper -_- jeez, what a... what a... Hold on a sec, I hear a strong buzzing sound from the window on the other side of the room...
*goes over to check the window*
*looks behind the couch, then turns to look behind the blinds to see the eyes of some flying insect staring back* 0.0
*backing up, the flying creature flutters around through the blinds buzzing*
*Ryuu runs to the kitchen to grab his sister Miku's bug spray* *returns back to the scene to see that the insect has rested on a different part of the blinds close to the center*
*using great tactic thinking skills, Ryuu aims the can behind the blinds*
*using the plastic that covered the inside of the window, Ryuu shoots off a spray of the pest control juice, ricochet off the plastic and onto the unsuspecting victim*
*the insect turns to flee buzzing in a panic but is disoriented in his escape as he goes up and down* *losing focus, the creature stops on one of the blinds but can't hold on and falls to the floor and falls silent*
as I was saying, what a situation I'm in.
(the incident with the fly really happened not too long ago. I bulked up the story but only as far as things from the fly's point of view) Take it easy all.

The scanner you may need to get a another one and know the manual. You also may need to take it to a tech to see what's wrong.
As for taxes, you may need to take it to a free place that does taxes.
I don't know where. I went online to efile.com
Then see about getting your own.
They're tax preparers who do your taxes for free. I feel that Job Corps should have such preparers in your area. Like they do here in D.C.
I would have to find the right department because those people are never in sync with each other or are able to direct me to the office that can assist me.
*hugs* good to see u still around
Good luck getting it sorted out.
So your saying you could help with the scanner issue? I just need to know what's wrong with this one or I'll jut wait til I get my own scanner.
What makes you uncomfortable about it? I'm still online and I'm pretty much capable of preventing great misfortune on my life so you wouldn't have to worry about that. I think your offer for mins. for my phone is really nice and I appreciate it. I was never against the idea but I don't know how I could repay you for that.
I... I don't remember talking about sharing a moment over some delicious subway with you. Are you sure?
Interesting idea there. That's quite a project your doing there, how will you go about scripting the characters of others? At sixteen, I had cornrows.
